The Best Restaurants in Glasgow (From a Local)

Stuck for places to eat in Glasgow’s City Centre and West End? I’ve got you covered.

Keep reading for my top 5 favourite restaurants in Glasgow which I’ve revisited over and over.

*Content warning: Extremely mouth-watering food ahead. Scroll at the risk of cravings*

1. Pulp: 31 Gibson St, Glasgow

Food Pictured: Ricotta, fruit, and honey 🍯

This may be the best brunch I’ve ever had. A bold statement for sure but I dream about this french toast and fruit combo way too often for it not to be true. The fruit was fresh, the french toast was fluffy, and overall the atmosphere was perfect. We also had a smoothie to go from here and it was amazing.

2. La Vita Spuntini: 40 Gordon St, Glasgow

Food Pictuered: Margarita pizza, chicken carbonara, lasagna, garlic bread, roast potatoes with garlic mayo, and cheese and pesto pasta 🍝

Second up we have my favourite restaurant of all time. I’ve tried so many dishes from the menu and none have ever disappointed in the slightest. The staff are super friendly, the restaurant itself has the perfect ambience, and of course the food is 11/10. I cannot take highly enough of this restaurant. There is also one on the corner of George Square however, Spuntini is centred around small plates and sharing which is my favourite way to eat dinner with friends.

3. Naked Soup: 6 Kersland St, Glasgow

Food Pictured: Ham and cheese bagel, chicken aioli bagel, tomato and mozeralla soup, and lentil soup πŸ₯–

The most ideal lunch spot now that we’re coming into the winter months. With a good choice of pre-made bagels and soup, Naked Soup is a must go in the West End.

4. Franco Manca: 93 Mitchell St, Glasgow

Food Pictured: Margarita pizza with a side of burrata πŸ•

A seriously underrated sourdough pizza stop in the City Centre of Glasgow. With quick service and oven baked-to-perfection pizza, this spot is a welcome change to the popularity of Paesano (if you know and hate the stress of finding a table in Paesano City Centre I can only recommend that you try here instead where wait times have never been an issue for me).

5. The Brunch Club: 67 Old Dumbarton Rd, Glasgow

Food Pictured: Pancakes with fresh fruit πŸ“πŸ«

Last but by no means least we have The Brunch Club. This one needs no introduction if you’re a local. Great food (and drink) options but be sure to arrive out with peak times as it does get pretty busy! Ps. it’s dog-friendly!

I would love to hear some of your favourite Glasgow spots so feel free to leave your own recommendations in the comments below <3
